EMBC 2024 Proposer Information
Important Deadlines:
  • Decision notification: Jan 26, 2024 23:59 (UTC -0600)
  • Final submission deadline: Feb 16, 2024 23:59 (UTC -0600)
Submissions:
  • ALL submissions must be made on-line from this web site.
  • Email submissions will NOT be accepted.
  • If you are making multiple submissions, you only need to create one web account. Use the same account (User name & Password) for any additional submissions.
  • If you need to edit any author information or resubmit your proposal, it may be done up until the submission deadline.
Proposal Specifications:

    Your proposal should be submitted as a PDF file to include the following:

  • Title: provide a title for your workshop, mini-symposium, or special session.
  • Summary: provide a brief description of no more than 200 words that will allow conference attendees to understand the topic and the focus.
  • Rationale: Please explain why the topic is novel, why it is relevant to the EMBS community, and how it fits within the themes of this conference.
  • Duration (workshop): If your proposal is a workshop make sure to indicate if it is half day or full day.
  • Duration (mini-symposium): If your proposal is a mini-symposium make sure to indicate the length of the individual talks (15- or 30-minute).
  • Duration (special session): If your proposal is a special session make sure to indicate if it is 60- or 90-minute.
  • Contact information for proposer(s): include name, affiliation, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • Speaker info:If your proposal is a mini-symposium or special session, include the title of each speakers talk, their full name, affiliation & email address.
  • Presentations made at EMBC should be original material.
  • Authors should obtain any necessary company and governmental clearance prior to submission of proposals
  • File Format: Adobe PDF (.pdf)
  • Allowed File Size: 10 MB
